Even if I don’t have noticeable bald patches (I have a thin area around my crown at the moment but that’s it), I still find my fluffy hair very annoying. Sometimes it doesn’t bother me, but recently it’s bothering me more. I think it’s getting worse.
Now I know that everyone has short hairs growing through that are a bit fluffy, but I have many more than normal. I have tried to take a photo though it is hard to capture how it really looks. Here is my best effort….
I have to admit that my hair is probably a bit fluffier than normal as I had just blowdried it before taking this picture, but it is still very frustrating. I really don’t even know if anyone notices my fluffy hair, but I notice it and I don’t want to have to gel it down or tie my hair back to hide it.
How do you deal with fluffy hair?

my hair is curly and fluffy and thick so its a disaster. im 13 so hair is a big issue for teens like me. i reccomend that you stop by sallys (a hair store) and pick up a product called Detour. i know its a gel but its fantastic. take a shower in the morning or wet your hair then apply the Detour and work it thouroughly through thew spot in your hair that gets fluffy. then let it air dry. when it starts drying check to see if its getting fluffy. if it is apply the product to the effected spot. let me tell ya girl this stuff is awesome and if it can get my crazy hair under control it will do the same for you!!! oh and yes your hair will get a bit hard when its dry. just dont touch it when its dry. leave it be. it will stay perfect all day. at the end of the day wash the product out.
Kaylee – Thanks
When I was 13, I have to say I used to scrape by hair back in a ponytail just so people wouldn’t notice. I really want to find a hair product that doesn’t show up but that keeps the fluffiness under control. I hope it will help
