Happy New Year! Will 2010 Be the Year You Stop Pulling?

Happy 2010! I hope everyone who reads this blog, or just stumbles across it, will have a great year ahead.

I wanted to take the time to mention that onTrich will be back and updated again regularly from now on. I let things slip, though I’ve still been receiving comments and emails all the time about the website. These comments are what make it all worthwhile, for me, so I want to get back into it and carry on connecting with more and more people around the world.

New Year’s Resolutions – Stop Pulling?

Have you set any new year’s resolutions related to trich? I know many of you have goals, which is great – as long as you remain positive about them and don’t let them get you down.

Personally, my goal is not to stop pulling. I feel that it’s just too big a goal.

Instead, my goal is to be aware of my pulling. Why? Because lately I’ve become apathetic. I just sit there, I know full well I’m pulling, and I pretty much have the willpower to stop, yet I do it anyway. I guess it’s just lazy, it’s a sign that I don’t care about myself, so I’m going to stop.

I’m going to try some more pull-free challenges. In 2009 I went pull-free for weeks at a time, but in 2010 I’m going to try a whole month for the first time!

I hope you’ll stick with me through my journey, and remember if you want to post anything here you can leave a comment, or send me an email and I can put it in a blog post for you. I always think it’s such a good idea to share with each other, so that’s what 2010 will be about.

Hi, I would like to post the following as I think it could be of help.
My name is Natalie Langdon and I run Vision life coaching,a practice based in Cambridge.I am a professional life coach, and hold a fully accredited LCH diploma in coaching, having completed extensive training with one of the UKs premier coaches.
I believe that having Trich can frequentely leave us neglecting other areas of our lives, due in part to its corrosive effect on our self esteem.
Life coaching works by focusing on all areas of a clients life, empowering clients to move forward, take action and see results. I aim to give clients the tools they need to establish what they really want to achieve in their lives, in addition to removing barriers that have prevented success.
I draw heavily on the principles of NLP and CBT coaching techniques, and feel passionately that building up a strong belief system in clients is crucial.
Most importantly, I have suffered with Trich for some 20 years, and whilst I do not offer any miracle cure for this condition, I have Trich under control, due to the powerful effects coaching had on me personally. Focusing on formulating goals, working on my health and wellbeing and eliminating beliefs that were no longer useful has led me to achieve more than I ever thought possible.
To that end, I would like to offer my service as a personal life coach to anyone suffering with Trich who is ready to start living the life they truly want.
Clients will benefit from having a completely safe environment in which to talk openly with a trained coach who completely understands their condition. I keep fully up to date with new research in the Trich field, and have gained extensive experience working with clients in a variety of areas. Briefly, these include relationships, weight loss, career change, work life balance and health and wellbeing.
I offer a complimentary consultation [approx 30-40 mins], for all potential clients, which is completely without obligation. The aim here is for clients to establish whether coaching is something they feel they could benefit from.
If you would like more details, or to request an information brochure please email me at nataile.langdon@ntlworld.com.
My website should be live in a couple of weeks, I will post a link to this when it is ready.
In the meantime, I look forward to hearing from anyone who feels this service is something they may be interested in.
    Best wishes.
