There are many weird and wonderful things that people do when they have trich, but are they really so weird? I hadn’t heard of some of them before, but really they all come down to the same thing.
Split Ends: Many people sit for hours picking away at their split ends (including me) and this may lead to trich or become just as time-consuming and compulsive.

Interesting. I’d no idea this could lead to trich.
Well, I am no expert and I believe in some cases it could lead to trich, but in others not. In my experience general hair fiddling did lead to my trich, after having a hair braid and when it got taken out – so I imagine this could be the same with split ends. But I would also think in more cases than not it may not lead to trich. It can be quite annoying on it’s own though! Sometimes I make my eyes hurt focusing on my split ends! Thanks for the comments
